There are a few roles for user that will need to be setup for example, when setting up a job you need an advisor.
Also when you are setting a technician for a job.

To get started, head off to Settings and then select Users.

Once in Users, make sure you have the technician already added as a user. If you do not, click on this link to setup a new User.
Select the user to edit the role.

Select the role that you wish to assign to the user and hit Add. You can add multiple roles for the User by adding each role.
Once you have setup the user's role you are all set.
